Norfolk Training Schools Partnership

Aylsham High School is one of five accredited Training Schools in Norfolk. We work closely in partnership with the other four training schools:

• Notre Dame High School in Norwich
• Lynn Grove VA High School in Gorleston
• Bawburgh Primary School
• Springwood High School

What are Training Schools? Training Schools in Norfolk endeavour to demonstrate excellent practice across the range of teacher training activities, especially in initial teacher training and the continuing training of the whole school workforce. Training School Activities The four training schools deliver local training and they are also participating in a range of national initiatives. These include;

• Lead schools for Suffolk and Norfolk GTP and SCITT programmes
• NQT termly meetings
• TA training
• Careers in School Evenings
• Professional Studies programmes for ITT(PGCE,SCITT,GTP)
